Sentries & Sages

Fine Art Photography Collection 2026

Sentries & Sages is a collection of portraits of trees. I photographed each one as I would a person - one at a time, giving space, light and attention. Each has its own posture, its own temperament, its own story written in the twist of the trunk or the reach of a crown. These are not landscapes, but introductions.

Each image is hand finished using encaustic wax to seal the image and create a texture and appearance specific to the individual subject.
